About the privacy policy is built on trust and it is important to us that our users feel safe using our service, and therefore takes responsibility for protecting your privacy. This privacy statement explains how we collect and use information about our users, and how we protect users' privacy.

Brief overview of the processing of personal data

We respect your right to privacy, and all processing of personal data takes place in accordance with Norwegian privacy legislation. For simplicity, we have made the following summary of our processing of personal information, but we recommend that you familiarize yourself with this privacy statement in its entirety so that you understand how we collect and use personal information.

If you have registered a user account on, AS will be able to process personal information about you in order to deliver's service to you and to improve and further develop our service. We also process personal data in order to provide you with offers, recommendations and content adapted to your usage pattern, for analysis to understand market trends and to limit misuse of the service. The information may be shared with companies affiliated with AS for use for the same purpose, mainly insurance partners.

The information collected for these purposes includes both information you provide (name, e-mail address, etc.) and information collected through the use of the service, including location information and technical information about your device and internet connection. The information may be supplemented with available information from third party actors.

Basics of the processing of personal data

Personal information is information and assessments that can be linked to an identifiable individual. Examples include name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Processing of personal data is any use of personal data, such as collection, registration, compilation, storage and disclosure or a combination of such uses. All processing of personal data is subject to the Personal Data Act.

What kind of information do we collect?

We register personal information about you both when creating a consultation hour and when subscribing to our newsletter. The information is collected in the following ways:

a. Information you provide to us

When you register a consultation hour with us, you will provide some data stored by us. This information is stored in our database to provide to improve our service and to prevent fraud.

Likewise, we will store information when you contact us by sending us an e-mail, for example to the customer center or provide feedback through features of the service, including e-mail address, telephone number and the content of e-mail requests so that we can answer your questions.

    We process the following personal information:

    • Demographic information such as place of residence
    • Contact information such as name, e-mail address and telephone number
    • Purchase history
    • Any other personal information that you have agreed that we may process (eg: information about your tattoo)

    b. Information collected through the use of the service

    Understand market trends

    The purpose of this is i.a. to compile statistics that we use to improve and further develop our websites, as well as improve our product offerings and service. Such analyzes can be done by itself, or by extracting information that another company analyzes. If personal information is handed over to other companies for such analysis purposes, this will be subject to so-called data processor agreements with requirements for confidentiality, that the information is not used for other purposes and is deleted after use, etc.

    Improve the user experience

    We use the collected data base to provide you with a more user-friendly service. For example, we will be able to monitor whether users with a specific browser or mobile phone have problems ordering a consultation, so that we can improve our interface. The information processed for this purpose will normally be used aggregated and anonymised, but we also have the opportunity to use this type of information to provide user support to the individual user in the event of technical problems and the like.

    Limit misuse of the service

    We use information related to users' activities and technical data to limit various forms of misuse of our service. Abuse includes, among other things, attempted fraud, "spamming", incitement and harassment, attempts to log in to other people's accounts and actions that are prohibited under Norwegian law.


    Your e-mail and any name, city, and information about how you got in touch with us will be transferred to Mailchimp, the tool we use to send out newsletters.     Information sharing

    Information about your use of the Service may be disclosed to other companies as an insurance partner for the same purpose for which they were collected. As far as possible, the information will be provided in anonymous form, but for some purposes it is necessary for the recipient to receive information that makes it possible to identify you.

    If there is a suspicion that an offense has been committed in connection with the use of’s service, the information may be disclosed to public authorities upon request. We will also be able to hand out information to others if it is necessary to prevent further fraud, or the information is necessary to clarify specific disputes about the advertising object, cf. the Personal Data Act § 8 ​​letter f. AS will not share, sell, disseminate or otherwise disclose personal information about you in any way other than as stated in this privacy statement unless we are required to do so as a result of a binding court decision or we have obtained your consent. However, this does not prevent us from using a data processor that processes the personal data on our behalf in accordance with the agreement as described in the Personal Data Act § 15. Data processors who gain access to your personal information in connection with the provision of services to (for example when we use a third party to carry out payment transactions or store information on a web server) are subject to a duty of confidentiality and they are not allowed to use this information in any way other than in the performance of services for us.

    Deletion of personal information

    Personal data will not be stored longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. In addition, you as a user may at any time request us to delete information related to you as a user, unless the information is necessary to provide a service that you still want to have access to or it is required by law to store the information for a certain period of time. (for example, certain information related to the purchase of services in accordance with accounting legislation). Information from advertisements published to the public on will in any case be stored for up to five years to help resolve disputes about the advertisement object, for example if the parties disagree about what was in the advertisement. Published ads can be stored in a historical archive.

    Security of personal information:

    We have established routines and measures at various levels to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to your personal information and that all processing of the information in general takes place in accordance with applicable law. The measures include, among other things, regular risk assessments, technical systems and physical procedures to ensure information security and routines for verifying access and correction requests.

    To protect yourself against unauthorized access to your user account, may use external services to identify which device you are using when logging in. With the services, we will be able to send data to both your own device and the identification service in order to be able to recognize you as a user, as well as receive information about any misuse of services via the relevant device. The information is used to prevent unwanted activity, and among other things helps to reveal that others are trying to log in to your user account to post fraudulent ads. If identifies misuse of the service, we may in some cases share information related to your device and IP address with the identification service to limit the possibility of further misuse from the device, but we will not share identifiable information such as personal information or e-mail addresses.

    Use of analysis tools, cookies and other technology

    We work continuously with the user experience on our website. Therefore, we collect different types of information from our users, so that we can at all times facilitate the best possible functionality. Examples of such information are which pages are visited, when the visit was made around the clock and which browser was used. We also use various forms of technology to recognize you as a user and to analyze data about our users. The technology is used partly because it is necessary for services to work, partly because it will be easier for you to use the service and partly for us to be able to carry out analyzes that enable us to further develop our services.     What are cookies?

    A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your PC / mobile phone / tablet and which helps us to make your visit to our websites more meaningful and positive for you. The cookies may, for example, contain user settings and information about how you have browsed and used our website, which browser you use, which ads you have been shown and similar behavior on websites we have a partnership with.

    There are different types of cookies:

    A session-based cookie is stored only in the working memory of your computer (RAM) and lasts only as long as your browser session. When you close all open browser windows, or turn off the computer completely, the session-based cookie will be gone forever.

    A persistent cookie is stored on the hard drive of your computer until a certain date, which may be tomorrow, next week, or next year. Persistent cookies remain on the machine until they either a) expire, b) are overwritten by new cookies, or c) you remove them manually.

    If you do not want to allow cookies to be stored on your computer, you must turn off the function in the browser. Please note that this will cause you to lose functionality in our service, perhaps even that they do not work as intended.

    How do we use cookies?

    We use cookies to facilitate the use of our service and to provide you with relevant information when you visit our website. Cookies are also used to measure the traffic on our website, to collect statistics and to improve our service.     How about cookies from advertisers and other third parties?

We have strict guidelines for how such actors can collect and use data about our visitors. The guidelines state that third parties should not collect data on our website to build profiles, interest groups or otherwise track behavior in order to target ads. Data can only be collected to analyze and measure the effect of advertising, including counting the number of ad impressions, clicks and conversions. Cookies and other tracking technology may not be associated with personal information without the specific consent of the user.

    How can I see which cookies are stored in the browser?

    In the browser settings, you will usually find an overview of all cookies that are stored, so that you can get an overview and possibly delete unwanted cookies. The browser normally stores all cookies in a specific folder on your hard disk so that you can also examine the contents in more detail.

    We may also use buoys / pixel labels to simplify marketing and use of our website. These files come from third parties and traffic providers, and track activity on various websites.
